The story behind STAR's safety-first training methodology
A techie-turned-marketer who chose to pursue her passion for motorcycling, Suparna built her expertise through years of riding across India and training under some of the country's most accomplished off-road facilitators.
The experience, knowledge, and riding wisdom gathered through these journeys form the foundation of the training methodology followed at STAR Academy and STAR Track.
Suparna realised that motorcycle rider training is not taken seriously enough in India, and that most aspiring riders struggle to find the right platform to begin their motorbike journey correctly.
STAR Track was created as one of India's pioneering dedicated motorcycle training facilities, giving riders a safe and structured environment to learn, practise, and grow before stepping onto actual roads and navigating real-life situations.
Over the past decade, Suparna has established herself as a respected rider coach, safety advocate, and community builder. She is trusted for her guidance, discipline, and philosophy of riding.
Through STAR Academy, she continues to shape a new generation of motorcyclists with a singular purpose: to ensure that every rider begins their journey where skills meet safety.
Suparna also built a special rider community committed to always riding responsibly: the Safe Tribe of Aware Riders.
